After a furious deliberation, many tough decisions, and a captivated imagination,
we have decided to move our family to North Africa as I have
accepted a teaching position at The American School of Marrakech in Morocco.
As hard as the decision was to make, once this opportunity presented
itself the move was inevitable. We have decided to make
this move for reasons that are perhaps too complicated
and personal for a blog, but ultimately, the world has become our
playground-- not just for us, but also for our children. This blog
has multiple purposes. First to share with those that we love that we are
temporarily leaving behind; our family and our life-long friends-- one of
the many reasons this move has seemed nearly impossible. Our love for
each of you will not vanish as we travel over the sea, but it will
strengthen through the distance. Second, for our children.
While both kids are young, experiencing life outside the United States at such
an age may be a distant memory. We plan to document our experiences,
growth and life in Morocco and our travels through other countries to turn into
a book for our children to enjoy as they grow older.
Those of you who will be following our blog-- we hope you enjoy reading
about our adventures.
Cheers to seeing new landscapes, developing new eyes, and traveling becoming our silence but creating us into storytellers!
