Just days away from departing the small town of Redmond, Oregon to begin our adventure and life in Marrakech, Morocco I have been madly peicing together the beginning of our life overseas. A mere four duffle bags later, Chad and I are nearly officially ready to climb aboard Delta to head to Seattle which takes us to New York where we will finally land in Marrakech countless hours later to walk into our new humble abode.
The excitment is overwhelming but the goodbyes are getting closer which has become the most difficult part of making this decision. Instead of saying goodbye, our family has taken on the saying 'see you soon.'
The next time I write to all of you, we will have either landed in Marrakech or are making the mad dash on the airplanes. Bon Voyage!
